After over nine years as Program Director and afternoon host at Krol Communications Classic Rock “103.9 The Fox” WRSR Owosso/Flint MI, Jeremy Fenech has exited to join Townsquare Media AC “Cars 108” WCRZ Flint starting Monday, February 10.
The move marks a return to WCRZ for Fenech, who began his career at the station in 1994 at the age of 15. He would later return for multiple stints including Promotions Director from 2009-16 and hosting middays from 2014-16. He also has programmed CHR “Kiss 106.1” WDKS Evansville IN and worked at additional stations in the Flint market including nights on CHR “CK 105.5” WWCK as ‘Just Bob’ from 2004-08.
In an announcement on WCRZ’s website, Fenech stated, ““I’m thrilled to finally be coming home. Cars 108 is where I began my radio career and I can’t wait to once again work with the station’s incredible staff and some of my lifelong friends.”
Fenech fills the opening created by Lisa Marie’s departure in October to join a local non-profit.
