WAKYANA LLC Classic Hits WAKY Louisville has launched a new on-air lineup following the retirement of Chuck Reeves at the end of 2025.
Midday host Chris Randolph had moved to mornings to succeed Reeves. Randolph has worked across Louisville including a seven-year run in mornings at Country 97.5 WAMZ from 2009 to 2016. He has also worked at Classic Rock 95.7 WQMF, CHR’s “98.9 Kiss-FM” WZKF and 99.7 WDJX, and Hot AC “Max 102.3” WXMA in the market as well as WMTX Tampa and WFMS Indianapolis.
Monica Reed, who co-hosts mornings at Saga Country “Beaver 100.3” WVVR and afternoons at Classic Hits “Rewind 94.3” WRND Clarksville TN, will also host middays at WAKY.
Ben Bailey and Jim Garrison remain in afternoon and nights respectively. WAKY is also adding longtime former News/Talk 840 WHAS Louisville morning host Tony Cruise to host 10am-2pm on weekend. Cruise retired from WHAS last May following a 32 year run at that station including 25 in mornings.
