JVC Broadcasting seeks to acquire Spanish Tropical “La Fiesta 106.9” WFWO Fort Walton Beach FL from Eugene Cella’s Fort Walton Beach Radio LLC for $202,607. The deal will require a waiver as it would give JVC a fifth FM in the market where the limit is four on one band.
Jeff Montgomery’s PACNW Broadcasting purchases Classic Rock “K-Surf” 96.7 KCRF-FM Lincoln City OR from Thomas Hodgins and Christopher Jacky’s Xana Oregon for $85,000. Xana had purchased KCRF-FM and 92.7 KNCU in 2024 for $115,000 from the foreclosure sale of Yaquina Bay Communications. They divested KNCU last May for $85,000. PACNW Broadcasting owns Classic Hits “100.7 The Otter” KPPT-FM Depoe Bay/Lincoln City.
Mike Batchelor’s Cornerstone Media Group is converting its LMA of AC “B97.5” WBBA-FM Pittsfield IL from Douglas Smith’s GBI Communications for $75,000 minus credits of $6,001 for unpaid LMA fees for January through April, $18,000 for equipment repairs the buyers will make, and $50,000 in advertising credit to Smith’s Eagle Valley Bank. Cornerstone began operating WBBA-FM via LMA last August.
Wendlee Broadcasting sells News/Talk simulcast 1240 KXYL Brownwood and 102.3 KXYL-FM Coleman TX to Kenneth Witt’s Lonestar Broadcasting Group for $200,000. A Time Brokerage Agreement will take effect ahead of closing on June 1.
Dale and Mason Thornhill purchase Red Sky LLC and its Country 1220 WFKN Franklin KY from Walker Newberry for $10.
Translator Sales
Four Rivers Community Broadcasting Corporation sells 96.9 W245AG Glenside PA to Priority Radio Inc. for $124,000. W245AG has rebroadcast the buyer’s Gospel “Reach Gospel Radio” since 2020 with an Option Agreement in place to sell the translator since then.
Ephrata Radio LLC purchases 101.9 K270CJ Olympia WA from Northwest Indy Radio for $5000. The buyers will utilize the translator to rebroadcast their 1030 KMAS Shelton WA.
