Baltimore Public Medi AAA 89.7 WTMD Towson/Baltimore MD has introduced Richard Rudel as its new afternoon host.
Rudel joins WTMD from Voice of America where he programmed and served as Production Director for four stations serving parts of Africa. During his tenure at VOA, Rudel also held part-time roles at multiple groups in the Washington & Baltimore areas including AAA WRNR-FM Annapolis, iHeartMedia Washington, and WTMD. He also has spent time at CBS Radio Washington and Baltimore, SiriusXM, and WorldSpace Satellite Radio.
Baltimore Production Manager Rob Timm, who had been hosting afternoons, will begin hosting “WTMD Late Night” from 9pm to 12am after Labor Day following a brief time filling in later mornings.
