Forever South Communications is acquiring WENK of Union City’s five stations in Northwest Tennessee for $500,000.
The stations feature two formats spread over the five frequencies. 710 WTPR Paris, 1240 WENK Union City, and 101.7 WTPR-FM feature a Classic Hits format positioned as “The Greatest Hits of All Time”. CHR “KF99/KQ105” 99.3 WWKF Fulton KY/105.5 WAKQ Paris carries the syndicated Ace & TJ morning show.
Forever South is run by president/COO Christine Hillard and operates stations in Bowling Green and Murray KY and Jackson TN. It and Pennsylvania based Forever Communications share similar ownership particulars but are separately operated. Bob Mahlman served as broker of the deal.
