Clear Channel’s Aloha Stations Trust has sold Modern Rock “Channel 92.3” KSJO San Jose, CA to Principle Broadcasting. Principle, which owns brokered ethnic stations in Boston, Dallas, Long Island, and San Jose has not disclosed the future of the current format or staff. In addition to KSJO, Principle currently operates South Asian targetted 1170 KLOK and Spanish language “iFM 104.9” KCNL in the San Jose area.
KSJO and KCNL previously were required to be spun-off by Clear Channel as part of its privatization plan in January 2008.
