ESPN Radio has announced a new weekday lineup as both Mike Golics return to the network.
Longtime “Mike & Mike” host Mike Golic and his son Mike Golic Jr. will take the 10am-12pm timeslot that had been held by Clinton Yates until the end of March. A former NFL defensive tackle, Golic moved to radio co-hosting mornings at KGME Phoenix from 1995 to 1998 when he joined ESPN Radio. During his 22 year run at ESPN, Golic hosted mornings with Tony Bruno from 1998-99, Mike Greenberg from 2000-2017, and Trey Wingo from 2017 until the show’s cancellation in July 2020. Golic Jr. briefly played in the NFL and CFL before joining his father at ESPN where he co-hosted early mornings, mornings with his father and Wingo and then afternoons until exiting in 2022. They had both been hosting for VSiN since exiting ESPN Radio.
Also joining the weekday lineup will be Matt Jones and Myron Medcalf, who will air weekdays from 3-5pm. The duo have hosted a Sunday morning show for ESPN Radio since 2018. With their addition, Freddie Coleman and Harry Douglas will move from 3-7pm eastern to 5-8pm. Amber Wilson and Ian Fitzsimmons will lose an hour to run from 8-10pm.
The new lineup will take effect on Monday, August 3.
