Original Report 6/29: Astral Media will shift AC “99.7 EZ Rock” CJOT Ottawa to Classic Hits “Boom 99.7” just 13 months after the station signed-on.

The Ottawa Citizen reports that the change will happen on Thursday, June 30 leading into the the Canada Day Holiday Weekend. The change will see all currents dropped from the station as it will focus on hits from the 70’s through the 90’s. Morning co-host Neil Hedley was let go from the station earlier this week.
