Clear Channel Revamps SF Shuffle Plans With Former KGO Talent

Fox NewsRadio FoxNews 910 KNEW 960 KKGN KKSF Talk TalkRadio Green SF103.7Update 1/3: The shifts have been completed as Clear Channel has launched “News/Talk 910” KKSF and 960 KNEW. Rush Limbaugh has moved from Cumulus’ 560 KSFO to fill the vacant 9am to 12pm slot on KKSF.

That leads to lineup changes at KSFO. Melanie Morgan, who was laid off from the station in 2008, returns to join Brian Sussman in mornings. J.D. Hayworth, former Arizona congressman and host at Clear Channel’s 550 KFYI Phoenix, takes over Limbaugh’s former 9am to 12pm slot.

Update 12/22: Clear Channel is teasing the addition of Rush Limbaugh for the new 910 KKSF. Limbaugh currently airs on Cumulus’ 560 KSFO.

Update 12/20: Since the original announcement on November 28 of program shuffling at its two San Francisco AMs, the market was hit with the massive changes at 810 KGO. In response, Clear Channel is adjusting its planned lineups for 910 and 960 and bringing on a few of the hosts let go by Cumulus earlier this month.

910 will still assume the KKSF calls, but instead of being branded as “Talk 910” it will become “NewsTalk 910“. 960 KKGN gains 910’s former KNEW calls, but instead of the planned “Fox News Radio 960”, the station will be branded as “960 KNEW” with the positioning of “Opinions. Finance. Advice.”

The planned lineups for the stations are as follows; See further below for the original plans:
