CBS Sports Radio has announced that Scott Ferrall’s “Ferrall On The Bench” will air in the 10pm to 2am timeslot when the network debuts on January 2.
Ferrall joins the network from SiriusXM where he hosts a nightly show on Howard Stern’s “Howard 101“. He was previously syndicated in the mid 90’s to many of the stations that now make up CBS’ Sports properties including WFAN New York and WIP-FM Philadelphia (then WYSP). Ferrall also spent time as morning host at CBS’ 102.7 WNEW New York and Lincoln Financial Media’s 560 WQAM Miami.
CBS Sports Radio has also announced the following stations will clear Ferrall’s program at launch. Cumulus’ 1050 KTCT San Francisco, 1310 KTCK Dallas,680 WCNN Atlanta, CBS’ 106.7 WJFK Washington, 610 WIP Philadelphia, 610 KILT Houston, 1270 WXYT Detroit, 1300 WJZ Baltimore, 610 WFNZ/1660 WBCN Charlotte, and Beasley Broadcasting’s 560 WQAM Miami.
you mean Beasley Broadcasting’s 560 WQAM Miami. Lincoln Financial Media owns WAXY AM 790 and 104.3 FM
Ferrall also did some weekend and fill-in work on Fox Sports Radio back in 2005 prior to joining Howard 101. So now they will have Jim Rome, Doug Gottlieb, Scott Ferrall and the Fabulous Sports Babe, and Boomer Esiasion in some capacity (syndicating WFAN’s “Boomer and Craig?”).
They list WCNN (no surprise due to the original network launch announcement back in June), which only begs the obvious question of what network WZGC “The Game” will affiliate with. Or is CBS planning on running “The Game” as a 24/7 local sports talker?
