Station Sales Week Of 3/6

Radio Station Sales 92.1 KSYR Shreveport 88.7 KPNG 93.5 KADD 1100 WGPAWith Alpha Media closing on its acquisition on Access.1’s nine stations in Shreveport and Tyler, the two stations that Access.1 had to place in a trust in 2103 are being returned. Cosecha Communications will transfer Regional Mexican simulcast “La Invasora” 92.1 KSYR Benton, LA and 92.3 KCUL-FM Marshall, TX to Access.1, while Alpha Media will take over operations of the stations via a Facilities, Services and Personnel Agreement.

Golden City Broadcast has exercised its option to convert its LMA of Mandarin Chinese 93.5 KADD Logandale, NV/Las Vegas from M&M Broadcasting for $2.26 million.

East Valley Institute of Technology is purchasing the CP for 88.7 KPNG Chandler, AZ from Arizona Community Media Foundation for $700,000. EVIT operates CHR “Teen Pulse Radio” 90.7 KVIT Apache Junction.

Jean DeNardo, court-appointed Guardian for Estate of Joseph Timmer of Timmer Broadcasting is selling Talk/Polka/Oldies “Sunny 1100” WGPA Bethlehem, PA to Ronald Crumbliss and Christopher Crumbliss’s CC Broadcasting for $95,000.

Terry Barber is acquiring Southern Gospel 800 WMGY Montgomery, AL from the George H. Buck, Jr. Trust for $60,000 and a $6500 per month Time Brokerage Agreement beginning March 15. Barber will retain his 14% stake in Bluewater Broadcasting, which owns four stations in Montgomery, but has stepped down as General Manager.

Tomahawk Light Broadcasting is transferring silent 91.3 WGBT Tomahawk, WI to Radio 74 Internationale for no consideration.

Screen Door Broadcasting has sold two of its Construction Permits in Oklahoma to Oklahoma Catholic Broadcasting. In separately filed deals, 102.9 KIHG Savanna is sold for $12,065 and 104.9 KEUC Ringwood goes for $22,795.

In last week’s report Mark Jensen’s MWB Broadcasting sale of Classic Hits 1370 KAWL and AC “Mix 105” 104.9 KTMX York, NE to Nebraska Rural Radio Association had been announced by yet to be filed with the FCC. We know know that NRRA will pay $1,335,000 for the duo.
