The new format will debut on Tuesday, January 3 at 10:00am. Until then the station is running hour-long format blocks and asking listeners to vote for a new format on the website of sister Rhythmic CHR 104.9 WJJS.
WSNV registered a 3.3 share in the Spring 2016 Nielsen Audio ratings. Its format included some overlap with sister Variety Hits “106.1 Steve-FM” Vinton. Lynchburg Radio Group’s “Oldies 103.9/106.9” WHTU Big Island/WZZI Bedford also covers parts of the Roanoke market.
