Cumulus Media has tabbed Phillip March as Program Director of Urban AC “Hot 107.7” WUHT Birmingham.
March most recently served as Director of Urban Programming for Alpha Media Louisville until his exit in January 2016. He has also programmed for Radio-One Cincinnati, Davis Broadcasting Columbus GA, and Cumulus in Huntsville AL and Wilmington NC.
March fills the vacancy created by Ken Johnson’s move to sister Urban AC “Radio 103.9” WNBM Bronxville/New York in late 2017.
Cumulus Media announces that it has appointed Phillip March as Program Director for Urban AC-formatted radio station WUHT-FM/Hot 107.7, Birmingham’s R&B Music Leader. March was previously Director of Urban Programming for Alpha Media’s Louisville, KY, stations WGZB-FM, WMJM-FM and WGHL-FM. Prior to that, he was Program Director for Urban One/Radio One’s Urban AC WMOJ-FM in Cincinnati, OH, and was Program Director for Urban-formatted WIZF-FM in Cincinnati. March holds a B.S. degree in Political Communication from Emerson College.
