WFGA Flips To Real Country

Real Country 106.7 WFGA Angola Fort WayneAfter almost a week of stunting, Swick Broadcasting launched Classic Country “Real Country 106.7” WFGA Hicksville OH/Fort Wayne IN at 6am today.

The station is using an on-air lineup consisting of talent from co-owned Local Radio Networks including Jeff DeWeese and sister 100.3 WLKI Angola News Director Sheila McRea in mornings, Jonathon Steele middays, Rick Burton afternoons, John Gleason nights, and Paul Walker overnights.

WFGA is running a mix of snippets of Classic Country songs, barnyard sounds, and in-stadium music as it prepares to launch its new permanent identity. ESPN Radio programming is still available in Fort Wayne on 1380 WKJG/100.9 W265CY Fort Wayne.

  1. Confused. Isn’t “Real Country” a trademark of Westwood One? Interesting that programming supplied by a 24/7 provider and competitor would use that name.
