Blakeslee has served as PD of WOWO since 2016 after rising from the role of News Director/afternoon news anchor. In her new role as host for “Fort Wayne’s Morning News” Blakeslee will be joined by news anchor Darrin Wright, Sports Director Mike Ragz and producer Jay Prince. She fills the opening created by the untimely passing of Charly Butcher in August.
Binnie Media has promoted Massimo Rosati to President.
Roasti joined Binnie in 2014 as a Regional Sales Manager and then rose to VP/Market Manager for the company’s New Hampshire stations the following year and then Executive VP in 2016. He previously worked in sales at iHeartMedia and Saga Communications in multiple New England markets. In his new role Rosati will oversee all aspects of the company’s media business including radio, digital and outdoor.
Gen Media Partners’ Sun Broadcast Group has announced the appointment of Rich O’Brien as Vice President of Programming and Affiliate Relations.
O’Brien joins Sun from SupeRadio where he was EVP/Programming & Affiliate Relations. He spent 25 years at SupeRadio where he co-created Saturday Night Online LIVE with Romeo, and managed affiliates and talent for shows including Sunday Nite Slow Jams, Baka Boys Hip Hop Master Mix, A-Town Sound Imaging, Weekend Throwdown with Jagger, Supermixx, The Steve & DC Show, The Ace & TJ Show, Retro Pop Reunion, Rise Up with John Ritter and Party Playhouse. He began his career as a producer for Open House Party.
Sun Broadcast Group has appointed Rich O’Brien as Vice President of Programing and Affiliate Relations. O’Brien comes to SBG with over 25 years of experience in national radio syndication, having worked as a VP/Radio Programs for Superadio Network, where he co-created, launched and affiliated “Saturday Night Online Live with Romeo” on over 170 stations, affiliated and managed talent for “Sunday Nite Slow Jams,” “Baka Boys Hip Hop Master Mix,” “A-Town Sound Imaging,” “Weekend Throwdown with Jagger,” “Supermixx,” “The Steve & DC Show,” “The Ace & TJ Show,” “Retro Pop Reunion,” “Rise Up with John Ritter” and “Party Playhouse.”
Rich was also an on-air Producer for “Open House Party,” a syndicated radio show, and Music Director of City FM, Superhit Country 24-hour formats.
