iHeartMedia has made cuts at All-Denver Broncos “Orange & Blue 760” KDSP Denver.
Morning co-host Andy Lindahl, who also served as sideline reporter for Broncos games on News/Talk 850 KOA and former Denver Bronco and afternoon co-host Ray Crockett have exited the station. Tyler Polumbus and Marc Stout will host those respective dayparts solo.
Former WNKU/WNKN Cincinnati Program Director Liz Felix is joining Pittsburgh Community Broadcasting Corporation AAA 91.3 WYEP Pittsburgh to host “The Evening Mix” from 6-10pm starting April 1.
Townsquare Media CHR “96.9 Kiss-FM” KXSS Amarillo has appointed Danny Wright as Brand Manager and afternoon host. Wright comes to Amarillo from iHeartMedia Hartford where he served as Production/Creative Director and has held similar roles at WSTR Atlanta, KSLZ St. Louis, WNCI Columbus, and WPRO-FM Providence.
NRG Media has announced the appointment of Mike Thompson as Operations Manager and Program Director for their four AMs in Omaha. Thompson, who previously programmed 710 KSPN Los Angeles and 1050 WEPN New York, will oversee Regional Mexican “La Nueva 1020/99.5” KMMQ, News/Talk 1290 KOIL, and Sports combo “1620 The Zone” KOZN and “1180 The Zone 2” KZOT.
As Hubbard Radio continues to make changes at the West Palm Beach cluster it just acquired from Alpha Media, Country 103.1 WIRK is seeking a new Program Director. Sammy Cruise will step down from programming the station but remain in afternoons. Cruise has been with WIRK since 2009 and added Program Director duties in 2012.
John Crenshaw has exited as Operation Manager of Cumulus Media’s Youngstown OH cluster and Program Director of Country “K105” WQXK. Crenshaw transferred from the same role in Grand Rapids to Youngstown in July 2016 and has also programmed iHeartMedia Country 92.3 WCOL Columbus.
