Cumulus Media reported their Q2 earnings report today noting a 9.7% decrease in revenue.
Cumulus Media’s revenue dropped from $186 million in Q2 2025 to $167,907,000 this year. The company’s net loss for the quarter was $9.2 million compared to $12.8 million last year. Adjusted EBITDA dropped by 28% to $16 million.
Cumulus’ broadcast spot revenue fell year-to-year by 10.6% from $91.1 million to $81.44 million. Network spot business dropped by 21.5% from $27.28 million to $21.4 million. Total broadcast radio revenue was down 13.2%. The company’s digital revenue was down 0.3% from $38.83 million to $37.71 million. Other revenue decreased by 8.4% to $26.33 million.
The revenue drop comes as Cumulus is in the process of staffing cuts across the company.
