Kemp Broadcasting’s “Q106.9” KVGQ Overton/Las Vegas NV has completed its gradual move from Hot AC to CHR with the addition of YEA Networks’ Tino Cochino Radio for mornings.

KVGQ, which rimshots the Las Vegas market, held a 0.5 share in the June 2019 Nielsen Audio ratings. The move to Top 40 places the station directly up against Entercom’s and Ed Stolz’ “104.3 Now” KFRH. KLUC was was seventh in the market with a 4.6 share while KFRH does not subscribe to Nielsen and is not publicly listed.

KVGQ remains one of two stations in the Las Vegas market utilizing the “Q” moniker along with Entercom Classic Hip-Hop “Q100.5” KXQQ.

YEA Networks, one of the top independent radio and podcast companies in the U.S., announces that Tino Cochino Radio will debut on Monday, August 12th, as Las Vegas’ most exciting new morning show, airing on the nationally syndicated radio program’s new affiliate, Q 106.9/KVGQ-FM. Tino Cochino Radio will air weekdays from 6am-10am on the popular Las Vegas Top 40 station.

With the addition of Q 106.9, Tino Cochino Radio is now heard in over 40 markets across the U.S., including over 50% of the top 25 U.S. Hispanic Markets. The personality-driven next-generation audio brand launched nationwide in 2018.
