iHeartMedia Sports “Fox Sports 910” KGME Phoenix continues to beef up its local programming output as afternoon host Jody Oehler will move to mornings from 6-10am replacing Fox Sports Radio’s Dan Patrick Show on September 3.
The station’s 1-4pm show “Kenny & Crash” hosted by Kenny Sargent, Crash Gladys, Richie Flores and Alex Clancy will also be moving to evenings from 7-9pm to make room for the recently announced addition of Mike ‘Roc’ Muraco and Dan ‘Manuch’ Manucci in the 1-4pm slot. The station has not yet announced what will fill the to be vacated 4-7pm timeslot.
The lineup changes all follow KGME becoming the new flagship for the NHL’s Arizona Coyotes.
While KGME is dropping The Dan Patrick Show, it will move to Hubbard Sports “NBC Sports 1060” KDUS with the first two hours airing from 7-9am.
Fox Sports 910, The Home of the Arizona Coyotes, announced today that “The Drive” starring renowned host Jody Oehler will move to weekday mornings, beginning September 3. “The Drive” will broadcast from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m.
“The Drive” has brought a signature blend of truth, humor and originality to the Phoenix airwaves. Throughout the run of the show, Oehler has had some of the biggest names in sports on-air regularly including Donovan McNabb, Jake Plummer, Ian Rapoport, Kent Somers and Greg Amsinger as well as everyone’s favorite radio segment, Top 5 Thursday which ranks the top five sports stories every Thursday.
“Jody is, without a doubt, a sports talk pro who just tells it like it is, and what better way to start your mornings in Phoenix if you’re a sports fan?” said Linda Little, Market President for iHeartMedia Phoenix. “Moving Jody Oehler to mornings on Fox Sports 910 was a no-brainer, and now sports fans have a place to start the day with the biggest stories in sports.”
