Lynn Polovoy Rises To iHeartMedia Baltimore Market President

93.1 WPOC Baltimore Jeff Wyatt iHeartMediaiHeartMedia has announced the promotion of Lynn Polovoy from Vice President of Sales to Market President of its stations in Baltimore.

Polovoy has been with iHeartMedia Baltimore since 2010 serving as General Sales Manager from 2011-2015 before rising to VP/Sales. She also served as GSM for Shamrock’s 100.7 WZBA from 2006-2010 and multiple sales management roles at Radio One Baltimore from 1989-2005.

She succeeds Aaron Hyland following his promotion to Washington DC Region President last month.

iHeartMedia announced today that Lynn Polovoy has been named Market President for Baltimore, effective immediately. iHeartMedia Baltimore has a strong cross-platform presence and includes a number of iconic brands and franchises — both broadcast and digital — encompassing more than four stations comprised of music formats.

iHeartMedia has the leading consumer reach and influence across multiple platforms and delivers more live programming than any other media company. As Market President, Polovoy will work closely with the programming, business and sales teams for all station brands in Baltimore. She will also oversee the station’s on-air and digital programming as well as create new business and revenue opportunities. Polovoy will report to Aaron Hyland, Region President for iHeartMedia Washington D.C./Baltimore.

Polovoy has more than two decades of sales experience, most recently serving as vice president of sales for iHeartMedia Baltimore. She also served as the general sales manager and account manager for iHeartMedia Baltimore and general sales manager for WZBA. She began her career at Radio One.
