The fourth and final day of Nielsen Audio’s PPM releases bring Austin, Raleigh/Durham, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, Nashville, Providence, Norfolk, Jacksonville, West Palm Beach, Greensboro, Memphis, and Hartford.

Numbers of note include:
- University of Texas Public News/Talk 90.5 KUT-FM Austin is the biggest gainer of the month as it rises 7.3 to 9.3 to regain the market lead. Waterloo Media Variety Hits “103.5 Bob-FM” KBPA falls to second with a 8.4 to 8.1 drop.
- Good Karma Brands News/Talk 620 WTMJ Milwaukee rises 7.5 to 8.4 to move into the market lead, while iHeartMedia Classic Hits 95.7 WRIT falls to second with a 9.6 to 8.3 drop.
- The FM Sports battle continues to show little dividends in Milwaukee. iHeartMedia’s “97.3 The Game” WYGM rises from 0.7 to 1.6, but Good Karma’s “ESPN 94.5” WKTI falls 0.8 to 0.7 and Entercom’s “105.7 The Fan” 1250 WSSP rises 0.6 to 0.7. iHeart’s “The Big 920” WOKY also jumps to 0.7 from 0.2.
- Entercom’s “95.7 R&B” WVKL increases its market lead to over a 4 share margin. WVKL rises 11.4 to 12.0, while iHeartMedia Hip-Hop “103 Jamz” 102.9 WOWI rises to second 7.5 to 7.8. Saga Rock “FM 99” 98.7 WNOR falls to third with a 9.1 to 7.5 drop.
- The rebranding of Hubbard Country 103.1 WIRK West Palm Beach as “New Country 103.1” begins to pay off as the station rises 3.1 to 4.0.
- iHeartMedia Country “B93.9” WNCB Raleigh is on the upswing with a 2.9 – 3.5 – 4.1 trend, but still remains well behind Curtis Media’s 94.7 WQDR’s 6.3 share.
- Midwest Communications Variety Hits “96.3 Jack-FM” WCJK Nashville moves ahead of sister AC “Mix 92.9” WJXA with an 8.1 to 8.9 gain, while WJXA falls 9.2 to 7.6.
- It’s a tale of pairs in Greensboro/Winston-Salem. Entercom Variety Hits “98.7 Simon” WSMW remains in the lead with a 10.9, while sister R&B 97.1 WQMG rises 8.9 to 10.3. Dick Broadcasting CHR 107.5 WKZL falls 6.0 to 5.1, while iHeart’s competing “100.3 Kiss-FM” WMKS rises 3.1 to 4.0.
- The third pair in Greensboro sees the two Country stations both slide into a tie. Entercom’s “93.1 The Wolf” WPAW plummets from a 6.8 to a 5.2, while iHeartMedia’s “Q104.1” WTQR falls 5.9 to 5.2.
- It’s been a poor couple of months for CHR in Indianapolis. Cumulus Media’s 99.5 WZPL slides 5.8 – 4.9 – 4.7, while Radio One’s competing “Radio Now 100.9” WNOW-FM drops 3.0 – 2.7 – 2.3. Radio One Rhythmic “Hot 96.3” WHHH also falls 4.2 – 3.9 – 3.4.
