KSE Media Denver SVP/Market Manager Brenda Egger is moving to iHeartMedia as Region President for the Denver region.
Egger has served as Market Manager of KSE Media’s cluster since 2008 working under CBS Radio and Wilks Broadcasting ownership prior to their purchase in 2015. She previously has served as Market Manager for Citadel Broadcasting Colorado Springs and worked in sales for iHeartMedia’s 850 KOA Denver. In her new role she will oversee the operations of iHeart’s Denver, Colorado Springs and Fort Collins stations.
Egger succeeds Tim Hager who recently exited after four years leading the Denver region.
iHeartMedia announced today that Brenda Egger has been named Region President for the Denver region, effective immediately. iHeartMedia Denver has a strong cross-platform presence and includes a number of iconic brands and franchises — both broadcast and digital — encompassing more than 31 stations comprised of music, talk and news formats.
iHeartMedia has the leading consumer reach and influence across multiple platforms and delivers more live programming than any other media company. As Region President, Egger will work closely with the programming, business and sales teams for all station brands in the Denver, Colorado Springs and Fort Collins markets to oversee on-air and digital programming as well as create new business and revenue opportunities. She will report to Jeff Tyler, Division President for iHeartMedia Markets Group.
“I’m thrilled to have someone with Brenda’s experience and knowledge join the iHeartMedia Denver team,” said Tyler. “We have a tremendous team and strong brands in the Denver region, and I am confident that Brenda’s tenure in the region provides the leadership and excellence that our partners and our advertisers have come to expect.”
Egger is an accomplished media veteran who has spent her entire media career in Colorado, most recently serving as senior vice president and market manager for KSE Radio. Prior to joining KSE Radio in 2008, Egger served as the market manager for Citadel Broadcasting in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She began her career in radio sales for KOA and currently serves on the Board of the Colorado Broadcasters Association.
“I am thrilled and honored for the opportunity to lead iHeartMedia Denver’s region of heritage and iconic radio stations,” said Egger. “Having spent my entire radio career in Colorado, I know the influence and impact these radio stations have on our community of listeners and business partners. I’m excited to immerse myself in my new role as Region President and collaborate with the talented and innovative team at iHeartMedia.”
