On Wednesday, the CBS Broadcast Center on West 57th Street in New York was shut down for at least two days after two employees tested positive for COVID-19.
While mostly television productions such as CBS This Morning and 60 Minutes were affected by the shutdown, the move forced CBS News Radio to move their operations to their Washington DC bureau. Thanks to having a contingency plan in place, the network was able to continue running and complete the transfer in under three hours.
