Ann Kelly will retire from mornings at Cox Media Group Soft AC 105.5 WDUV New Port Richey/Tampa FL on Friday, August 14.
Kelly has been in mornings at WDUV since 2012 after previously spending time at the station and sister 94.9 WWRM where she originally joined in 1988 as part of the “Shepherd & Shepherd” morning show with then-husband Read Shepherd. Before arriving in Tampa, Kelly worked in Toledo and Syracuse NY.
The company said, “Throughout her career, Kelly approached every day as a new “AnnVenture,” delighting listeners with stories of her travels and unique discoveries throughout Florida. Her passion for cooking inspired “Ann Kelly’s Kitchen,” a popular blog where she shared favorite recipes, kitchen tips, and her love of bringing people together through food. Kelly has also generously donated her time to countless charitable organizations, openly shared her personal journey with Lupus to educate and inspire others, and has been a passionate supporter of the Suncoast Animal League and an active board member of the Tampa Bay Arthritis Foundation.”
