New South Radio is selling Alternative 930 WSFZ/107.1 W296DD Jackson MS to SSR Communications for $84,000. SSR, which owns Conservative Talk 103.9 WYAB Pocahontas MS has been trying for years to increase its stations coverage in Jackson through multiple STA filings and proposing a new C4 FM class. The deal includes an LMA before closing, but no start date is listed in the sale filing.
After the $352,500 February sale of 1010 WTZA Atlanta and the CP for W227DN Norcross GA to RC Media Partners collapsed, K&Z Broadcasting has sold the station to Radio Spice LLC for $300,000. The station has already flipped to the buyer’s South Asian “Radio Punjab” network.
Grants Pass Broadcasting will acquire Silent 94.7 KRRM Rouge River OR from the estate of Shirley Bell for $150,000. KRRM will join a cluster that includes Hot AC 98.3 KLDR Harbeck-Fruitdale and Talk 1270 KAJO Grants Pass/99.7 K259AE Williams.
