JVC Broadcasting is in the process of rebranding “Oldies 98.1” W251BY Patchogue/WPTY-HD2 Calverton-Roanoke NY to “Big 98.1“.
The station is currently phasing in the new branding with both logos appearing on the station’s website and on-air imaging references both brands including some stating “From this to this” with jingles of both the old and new brand heard. The station is retaining its “Long Island’s Greatest Hits” positioning.
W251BY covers the central part of Long Island in western Suffolk County.
