Cumulus Media Alternative “103.3 The Edge” WEDG Buffalo has announced the appointment of Alexis ‘Lexi’ Ziccardi as afternoon host and promotions coordinator.
A Western New York native, Ziccardi returns to Buffalo from Jacksonville where she was serving as morning show producer and host for Cox CHR 95.1 WAPE. She began her career at Entercom Buffalo where she held multiple roles between 2017 and 2020 including morning show producer, promotions assistant, fill-in host at CHR “Kiss 98.5” WKSE and Hot AC “Star 102.5” WTSS and hosting/producing a local music show for “107.7 Alternative Buffalo” WLKK.
She fills the afternoon opening created by Tiffany Bentley’s departure in October to join Buffalo Toronto Public Media AAA “WBFO The Bridge” 88.7 WBFO-HD2 Buffalo as its first Program Director.
Cumulus Media (NASDAQ: CMLS) announces that it has appointed on-air personality Alexis “Lexi” Ziccardi as On-Air Host, Afternoons, for Buffalo’s Alternative Rock station 103.3 The Edge/WEDG-FM. Lexi will be heard weekday afternoons from 3:00pm to 7:00pm, beginning Wednesday, December 28, 2022. In addition to her afternoon show, she will also serve as Promotions Coordinator for 103.3 the Edge.
A native Western New Yorker, Lexi returns to Buffalo from Jacksonville, FL, where she was Morning Producer and On-Air Personality for Cox Media Group. Prior to that, she worked in multiple on-air, producing and promotions roles with Entercom Buffalo. She holds a B.S. degree in Communications from SUNY Fredonia.
