The “Tad, Drex & Kara” morning show at Cox Media Group AC “B98.5” WSB-FM Atlanta is expanding to Tulsa as it debuted this morning of Cox Hot AC “Mix 96.5” KRAV.
The move marks a return to Tulsa for host Tad Lemire, who hosted mornings at KRAV from 2013 to 2016 before moving to Atlanta. The show also features Kara Leigh and P.J. ‘Drex’ Rener.
Lemire commented, “This city has always been so kind to me. The first thing I noticed was the festivals happening on any given weekend. Tulsa is one of the greatest cities in America.”
Cox Tulsa VP/Market Manager Mark Shecterle added, “Tad, Drex, & Kara deliver a fun and interactive show that we’re proud to be able to offer our listeners. We’re really excited to have them on the Mix 96.5 team.”
The show fills the opening created by the exit of KC Lupp in Cox’s layoffs last month.
