Santi DeOleo has announced he will depart as co-host of “Ashlee and the Jam’n Morning Show” on iHeartMedia Rhythmic CHR “Jam’n 94.5” WJMN Boston on March 31.
DeOleo wrote, “This wasn’t easy. Radio has been a huge part of my life for a long time. The memories, the energy, the relationships… all of it means a lot to me. But there comes a point where you feel ready to take on a new challenge and build something of your own. And for me, that’s expanding my media company and stepping into this next chapter with everything I’ve got.”
DeOleo has spent the majority of his career at WJMN since starting as an intern in 2000. He became associate producer of the morning show in 2003 and Executive Producer in 2007 and co-host in 2013. He would exit in 2015 in a round of cuts and then spent three years at Beasley Country 102.5 WKLB as Executive Producer before returning to WJMN in 2019 as Executive Producer and co-host when Feldman moved back to mornings from afternoons. He also runs social media consultancy Silo Space Media.
