Woodward Community Media CHR “95.9 Kiss-FM” WKSZ De Pere/Green Bay WI has cut ties with evening host Daniel ‘Dan Brown’ Lieburn after he was charged with one count of possession of child pornography and six drug-related counts.
A longtime club and wedding DJ in Wisconsin and the Chicago area, the 39-year-old Lieburn had hosted nights at WKSZ since April 2024. He also served as General Manager of a nightclub in Green Bay.
WLUK-TV reports that police received an tip last May of child sexual abuse videos shared from a Snapchat account that investigators tied to Lieburn. He admitted to having seen and sending the video following a raid on Tuesday. The criminal complaint includes a statement from Lieburn, “I have been addicted to young, teenage boys since I was about 17 years of age. I am sorry for what I have done. I believe I need some mental health help for my problem.”
Woodward told multiple Green Bay area television stations, “Daniel Lieburn, known on air as Dan Brown, is no longer employed at Woodward Community Media. We have no further comment at this time.”
Lieburn’s firing follows the exit of morning co-host Otis Day earlier this month after a restraining order was filed against him by 101.1 WIXX morning co-host Natalie Jansen.
