Former Fox Sports host Joy Taylor is joining Urban One in a multi-platform deal.

Taylor will host “The Daily Play with Joy Taylor” as a daily podcast with a “virtual video layer” for YouTube and social media, on select Radio One radio stations, and syndicated through Reach Media. The syndicated portion will consist of a one-minute commentary that will air from 6am-7pm weekdays.

Taylor, who previously co-hosted Speak and Skip and Shannon: Undisputed during her time with Fox Sports, has also hosted shows for CBS Sports Network and spent three years co-hosting mornings at Sports “790 The Ticket” WAXY Miami.

Taylor said, “I wanted to create something fast, focused, and always authentic. Sports fans are busy, but they want the context behind the conversation. With ‘The Daily Play,’ I’m giving them what it means and what to watch next—in just a few minutes. Joining Urban One allows me to talk directly to a loyal, engaged audience across the country. I’m excited to get back to my radio roots!”
