Audacy Country “100.3 The Bull” KILT-FM Houston has announced it will launch “The Morning Bull with Matt & Lois.”
Hosted by Lois ‘Double-L’ Lewis and Matt Wood, the new show will debut on Thursday, September 17
Lewis most recently spent a decade as APD/MD/midday host at iHeartMedia Country 102.5 KNIX Phoenix until exiting in the company’s June layoffs. She also hosted middays at “95.5 The Bull” KWNR Las Vegas where she previously served as APD/MD and was previously heard in afternoons on Hot AC “Mix 96.9” KMXP during her tenure. Lewis has also worked as Senior Director of Regional Promotion for Republic Nashville and MD/Night host at KIIM Tucson.
Wood most recently hosted Townsquare Media’s “Taste of Country Mornings” along with Nicole Taylor from March 2024 until October 2025. At the time of its cancellation the show was heard on seventeen stations across the country. The Ohio native also previously co-hosted mornings at Leighton Broadcasting’s “Wild Country 99” KZPK St. Cloud MN and worked in Sports radio at WQXI Atlanta and KNSI St. Cloud.

Lewis commented, “They say everything’s bigger in Texas, and my first conversation with Matt Wood proved it! Our very first FaceTime lasted two hours and 14 minutes, with big energy and morning-show chemistry right outta the chute. I’ve admired Hall of Famers Bruce Logan and Chris Huff for years, and it didn’t take long to understand why Sarah Frazier is the Ultimate Boss Lady. I’m so grateful they’ve invited me to join this team. I can’t wait to dive into Houston, connect with our community and clients, and bring our BIG ENERGY to The Morning Bull every day. Wood followed, “I could not be more excited to be joining The Bull in Houston. Getting the chance to work with this team is a dream come true. Coming in every day and learning from Bruce and Chris, alongside Lois in the mornings, is about as perfect a situation as anyone could ask for. Everything I have learned so far about Houston has me excited to jump into the community and be part of the city.”
They fill the morning slot last held by Frito & Katy until their exit in March.
