iHeartMedia is expanding the Ryan Gorman Show to a third Florida market as it will debut in mornings on “NewsRadio WFLA Orlando” 540 WFLF Pine Hills/107.7 WMGF-HD3 Mount Dora and 93.1 W226BT/94.1 W231CT Orlando starting Monday, September 14.
Gorman and co-host Dana McKay are currently heard on 970 WFLA Tampa and 610 WIOD Miami in mornings from 6-9am. In Orlando they will fill the timeslot that had previously been held by Simon Conway’s “Good Morning Orlando” until the show was cancelled at the end of July. The station had been airing Premiere Networks’ Michael del Giorno since then.
Gorman joined WFLA as afternoon host in 2018 after previously working as a podcast and weekend host for the station. He moved to mornings in December 2021 with McKay joining him in November 2022. The show was added on WIOD in August 2024. Both previously had long runs in music radio with Gorman spending time at WFLZ Tampa, WFKS Jacksonville, WKSC Chicago, and WKSS Hartford while also hosting a political talk show at WELI New Haven CT. McKay has been heard on stations including WFLZ, WMTX and WSJT Tampa, WTIC-FM Hartford, and WIAD and WASH Washington DC.
iHeartMedia Orlando Market President Judy Copier said, “Ryan and Dana have built a show that is informative, entertaining and distinctly Florida. Their understanding of the stories and issues that matter to Floridians, combined with the reach of iHeart’s broadcast, digital and social platforms, creates a powerful way to engage and connect with listeners and advertisers across Orlando.”
iHeart Florida Region SVP/News and AM Programming and News/Talk/Sports Brand Coordinator Grace Blazer added, “Ryan and Dana bring an authentic connection to Florida and a unique ability to tackle the biggest stories of the day in an entertaining way. We’re thrilled to bring the show to Orlando and continue WFLA’s legacy of delivering trusted news and engaging content.”
