After publicly announcing their plans for WNKS Charlotte yesterday, the other half of Beasley Media’s $8 million sale to K-Love Inc., Rock/Alternative “X107.5” KXTE Pahrump/Las Vegas did the same today.
Program Director/midday host Carlota Gonzalez confirmed Beasley’s previously announced plans for KXTE to replace Hot AC 107.9 KVGS Meadview AZ with the stations set to begin simulcasting on Monday, September 14 at 12am. The simulcast will last until K-Love closes on its purchase of KXTE and WNKS later this month.
With the move, KXTE will drop its “Xtreme Radio” positioning for “The Vegas Alternative”. The on-air lineup remains the same with Dave & Mahoney in mornings, Carlota in middays, and Pauly Kover in afternoons.
KXTE was down 3.0 to 2.7 in the August 2026 Nielsen Audio ratings trailing Lotus Rock 92.3 KOMP after its 4.8 to 3.8 drop. KVGS will go out up 1.7 to 2.6 which trailed Audacy’s “Mix 94.1” KMXB 4.5 to 4.8 gain.
