Hubbard has announced the promotion of John Goforth to President of its Gamut Podcast Network.
Goforth joined Hubbard as VP/GM of Podcasts in 2024 and led the division’s rebrand as “Gamut Podcast Network” in March 2025. Prior to joining the company, Goforth spent five years as Chief Revenue Officer for Magellan AI. Goforth began his career in commercial radio sales holding account executive roles at Clear Channel, KMOX, KFNS, and WXOS all in St. Louis and WMVP Chicago before joining WSCR/WXRT Chicago as Local Sales Manager in 2012. He would move to podcasting in 2016 holding roles as VP/Advertising Partnerships at Midroll Media, SVP/Podcast Revenue Strategy for iHeartMedia, SVP/Sales for HowStuffWorks, and Head of Audience Development and Business Development for WaitWhat.
Hubbard states that the new title places Gamut alongside Hubbard’s other media and entertainment companies and reflects the company’s continued investment in podcasting as its revenue has grown 47% over the past two years with the network now hosting more than 250 national and local shows/
Hubbard CEO Ginny Hubbard said, ““John has been leading Gamut since the day he walked in the door, and we’ve watched him turn it into something everyone at Hubbard is proud of. He understands this business from the creator’s side and the sales side, and he genuinely cares about the people making these shows. Naming him President is our way of recognizing that, and of letting the industry know how much we believe in where Gamut is headed under John’s leadership.”
Goforth commented, “I’ve been doing this for more than a decade, and the questions change every couple of years. YouTube, video, what even counts as a podcast anymore. Our creators don’t have to guess at the answers. Wherever their audience goes, we help them get there and ensure they make money along the way.”
