Program Coordinator
North American Broadcasting, Inc., in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking a Program Coordinator
Duties and Responsibilities
• Coordinate the daily operations of three radio stations in the North American Broadcasting, Inc. Columbus, Ohio cluster, including Classic Hit Country WJKR “The Maverick,” Adult Variety “Star 95.1,” and Fox Sports 920 WMNI, ensuring compliance with broadcast standards, FCC rules and regulations, and relevant federal and state laws and regulations.
• Coordinate all aspects of the station’s programming, talent, and music, and oversee the on-air experience, including promotions and contesting.
• Schedule staff for on-air shifts.
• Identify, recruit, and coach on-air talent.
• Coordinate with Promotions in scheduling talent for remotes and appearances.
• Produce commercials as needed and oversee the Production Department, including implementing imaging and promos across all three stations.
• Partner with Sales in support of local and corporate business goals to increase market share, listenership, ratings, and revenue while aligning programming with client/station goals.
• Create talent and station marketing, promotion, and image campaigns.
• Determine and maintain creative vision for station to enhance station image and visibility within the community
• Evaluate programming available from distributors, syndicators, and independent producers to recommend acquisitions for broadcast
• Ensure staff have taken, passed, and maintained all company programs, plans and training (e.g. FCC and DMCA)
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with producers, artists’ managers, composers and other industry contacts
• Host daily on-air show on WJKR. Fill in on-air at other stations within the cluster as needed.
• Represent the station in the community at concerts, events and promotions.

Minimum Job Requirements
• High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
