Hearst News/Talk 1090 WBAL/101.5 W268BA Baltimore will debut “Ravens Daily” in afternoons from 3-5pm on Monday, November 9.
The new show will originate from the Ravens’ training facility and feature Ravens radio play-by-play voice Kyle Youmans and former Ravens defensive lineman Michael Pierce. It will air on multiple Ravens digital platforms along with WBAL’s. The show will be produced by Ravens Productions and run year-round with current and former players, team officials, and NFL media personalities making regular appearances.
Youmans commented, “‘Ravens Daily’ is all about the Ravens Flock, with access and interviews they want, delivered in an informative and entertaining manner each day. The incredibly talented individuals at Ravens Productions have long set the standard for digital content in the NFL. To bring that same level of storytelling and content to radio is a huge responsibility, and we can’t wait for fans to enjoy it.”
Hearst Baltimore President/General Manager Dan Joerres added, “Expanding our longstanding relationship with the Baltimore Ravens through the launch of ‘Ravens Daily’ is an exciting
next step. Kyle Youmans and Michael Pierce will bring a distinct perspective to WBAL NewsRadio, and I know our listeners will enjoy hearing from them every weekday.”
The 3-5pm timeslot has been held by “The WBAL Sports Lounge” hosted by Glenn Clark since the station cut its local talk shows in late August.
