Update 9/17: The changes continue at WEBN. With Chris Williams transferring from the former “Project 9-6-1” WKLS Atlanta to program the station, WEBN has segued from Mainstream Rock to Active Rock. Kidd Chris, the former WKLS morning host will take the same slot at WEBN in a few weeks.
Original Report 9/12: Clear Channel has shaken-up the lineups at its two Cincinnati FM’s with the arrival of a new Operations Manager according to reports from the Cincinnati Enquirer.
Chris Williams, most recently PD of “Project 9-6-1” Atlanta, joins the cluster as Operations Manager for Rock 102.7 WEBN, CHR “Kiss 107” WKFS, and recent Alternative sign-on “Project 100.7/106.3” W264BW/W292BT. He replaces Casey Krukowski who was let go as PD of WEBN and Project yesterday.
Also at 102.7 WEBN, morning hosts Mark & Mo are also out after just seven months at the station. The pair had joined WEBN for “99.7 The Blitz” WRKZ Columbus where they were known as Blazor and Mo. Replacements have not yet been tapped for mornings.
A new lineup will be in place at CHR “Kiss 107” WKFS as well. The Kane Show, based at sister “Hot 99.5” WIHT Washington DC will take over the morning slot displacing Jare and Joey. Joey shifts to 10am-12pm as well as providing local inserts to the morning show. Ryan Seacrest’s “On Air” slides to 12pm-4pm with Jare returning to the afternoon slot he held prior to moving to mornings in April. Jare continues to serve as Program Director for WKFS.
I wonder if Kidd Chris will be the new morning show at 102.7?
Maybe the new WEBN morning show will be………..The syndicated “Bob and Tom” show!
Bob and Tom is on Cumulus owned 92.5 The Fox. The funny thing is, Clear Channel owned them at the time when they premiered the show in Cincinnati several years ago
