With an unusually high number of legitimate programming changes taking place today, its time to break out our holiday special rundown to keep track of all the changes.
Completed Changes
Philadelphia: Radio-One Urban AC 100.3 WRNB shifted to Urban Oldies “Old School 100.3” at 5:00pm.
Minneapolis: After stunting all weekend, AC “Love 105” became a 24/7 affiliate of CBS Sports Radio as “105 The Ticket“.

Still To Come
Cape Cod: 101.1 WHYA has dropped its simulcast of Variety Hits “93.5 Frank-FM” WFRQ and is running a countdown clock to the debut of its new format.
April Fools Formats
Washington: Urban AC WHUR Washington D.C. is “Twang 96.3” with DJ’s Bret and Chet playing Black Country artists.
Chicago: Urban Talk 1690 WVON is celebrating its 50th anniversary with 1960’s music, imaging, and commercials.
Milwaukee: Clear Channel CHR “97.3 Radio Now” WRNW has gone the April Fools route as “Radio Meow: Hit Music For Cats”
Greenville, NC: Beasley AC “V103.3” WMGV is playing Goat remixes of its music as “Goat 103.3“
The countdown clock stunt is very similar to one done by Entercom when WILD-FM was acquired and flipped to a simulcast of WAAF. What that means, I don’t have clue.
