Update 3/27: Federated has confirmed that WAOR will become “ESPN 95.7 South Bend” on Tuesday, April 1. WAOR will take the entire ESPN Radio daytime lineup including Mike & Mike, Colin Cowherd, Scott Van Pelt & Ryen Rusillo, and Dan LeBatard.
Original Report 3/25: Schurz Communications News/Talk 960 WSBT/96.1 W241AD South Bend has unveiled a new programming schedule following the loss of the local ESPN Radio affiliation.
The new lineup replaces the bulk of the station’s daytime Sports programming with additional political talk. The new WSBT lineup, which went into affect today includes:
5-6am: WSBT-TV News
6-9am: Jon ‘JT’ Thompson
9am-12pm: Mike Gallagher
12-2pm: Dennis Miller
2-5pm: Dave Ramsey
5-7pm: Weekday Sportsbeat
7-9pm: Mark Levin
9pm-1am: John Batchelor
1-5am: Red Eye Radio
ESPN Radio programming will likely end up on Federated Media Sports “95.7 The Fan” WAOR Nappanee. Federated registered ESPN957SouthBend.com as well as ESPN1027Warsaw.com for WLEG Ligonier earlier this month. WAOR currently features a mix of programming from CBS, Fox, and NBC Sports Radio networks including Dan Patrick and Jim Rome.
