Jeff “JV” Vandergrift and Dan “Elvis” Lay will reunite in afternoons at iHeartMedia Talk 910 KKSF San Francisco.
The duo spent many years in mornings at sister “Wild 94.9” KYLD San Francisco until being fired in 2005. They spent a brief time in late mornings at CBS’s ill-fated “92.3 Free-FM” WFNY-FM New York before each went their separate ways. Vandergrift eventually returned to mornings at KYLD in 2009, while Lay spent a brief time at Royce International’s “92.7 Rev” KREV. The new incarnation of the show comes as part of a contract extension to retain “JV In The Morning” at KYLD.
The Dog House will air weekdays from 4-6pm on KKSF with Gil Gross moving to 10am-2pm and Cory & Joel to 2-4pm to make way. Content from JV’s production company will be heard along with the show on iHeartRadio’s new “Dog House Channel”.
