Classic Hits Moves Up While Country Moves Down In Chattanooga

Big 95.3 WPLZ Cat Country 106.9 Chattanooga Hippie Radio Brewer MediaClassic Hits has returned to a full-powered signal in Chattanooga.

With Classic Hits “Big 95.3” debuting on WPLZ Ooltewah, “Cat Country” shifted to 106.9 W295BI Chattanooga/WPLZ-HD2. The frequency swap restores Classic Hits to a full powered signal in Chattanooga for the first time since Cumulus flipped “107.9 Big-FM” WOGT to Nash Icon last October. W295BI had dropped its “Hippie Radio” branding in March.

Sean McNally and Janice Colby’s “Mac & Cheez” morning show will remain on 95.3 WPLZ despite the format swap.
