Do you live and breathe social media, love creating content, and know what gets people talking?
We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to join our radio station team in State College and help bring our on-air personalities, local stories, promotions, events, and advertisers to life across social platforms.
What You’ll Do:
Create and manage engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms for our radio stations.
Develop short-form video, photos, graphics, reels, stories, and other digital content
Work closely with on-air talent to turn radio moments into shareable social content
Promote station programming, contests, events, community involvement, and special features
Create content that connects with the State College and Central PA community
Help grow engagement, followers, reach, and overall digital presence
Monitor trends and find creative ways to make our content stand out
Support promotional campaigns and local advertisers with social content
Track performance and use analytics to improve what we post
A daily on air show
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
Is creative, energetic, and comfortable being behind—and in front of the camera
Has strong knowledge of social media platforms and current trends
Can write engaging captions and headlines
Understands what makes content entertaining, timely, and shareable
Can work independently while collaborating with a fast-paced radio team
Is plugged into the local community and understands the State College market
