Sarkes Tarzian AC “Majic 95.1” WAJI Fort Wayne is the latest Adult Contemporary station to rebrand.
The station will become “95.1 Best-FM” on Thursday, as it repositions to join the AC trend of reaching younger demographics. The “Majic” brand had a nearly 30 year heritage in the market, being in the AC format since 1985.

The change comes just days after Dirk Rowley’s announcement that he is leaving WAJI’s morning show after 14 years to join WISE-TV.

WAJI was actually already Hot AC, so this will be a change in name only. They even report to Mediabase as a Hot AC. It’s been years since they were a mainstream AC.
