The AM/FM split between Sports stations in Madison has been broken as Clear Channel’s “The Big 1070” WTSO adds an FM translator on 100.9 W265CV Madison.
WTSO joins Good Karma’s “ESPN 100.5” WTLX Monona and Midwest Family Broadcasting’s “The Zone” 1670 WOZN Madison/106.7 WOZN-FM Mount Horeb on the FM band in the market. WTSO is the only one of the three to subscribe to Nielsen Audio; registering a 1.9 share in the Spring 2014 ratings.
WTSO’s local programming also airs in Milwaukee on sister 920 WOKY.

I’ll second that ugh. Too many sports talk formats showing up everywhere. In quite a few markets there are more sports formats than any other single format. Obviously corporate radio thinks sports will save their you know what. Maybe for 2 stations.in a market, it will……but not for the rest of them
