He fills the San Antonio opening created by Travis Moon’s exit in May as Director of Country programming for Austin and San Antonio.

HeartMedia San Antonio announced today that Kyle Due has been named Program Director for KJ97, San Antonio’s No. 1 Country Station, and 92.5/93.3 The Bull, San Antonio’s Classic Country Station, effective immediately. He will also serve as weekday afternoon on-air personality for KJ 97. iHeartMedia San Antonio has a strong cross-platform presence, massive consumer reach and includes a number of iconic brands and franchises – both broadcast and digital – including KJ97, Q 101.9, 96.1 NOW, 104.5 Latino Hits, News Radio 1200 WOAI, The Bull, Ticket 760, La Preciosa 105.7 – and broadcasts several popular personalities including The Randy, Jamie & JoJo Show, Bree, and Cody Alan.

iHeartMedia has massive consumer reach and influence across multiple platforms and delivers more live programming than any other media company, and Due will be responsible for the day-to-day programming operations of KJ97. In addition, as the station’s weekday afternoon on-air personality, he will broadcast today’s latest and greatest in Country music including popular songs from artists including Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton and Florida Georgia Line. Due will report to Brian Gann, Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Austin/San Antonio.

“We could not be more excited to have Kyle joining the San Antonio team,” said Matt Martin, President for iHeartMedia Austin/San Antonio. “He is an amazing programmer and talent, and we know he will lead KJ97 to continued success.”
Due has worked as both an on air talent and programmer for iHeartMedia for the past 16 years, and most recently served as Program Director for WAEB and WZZO in Allentown, PA. His previous stops include Winchester, VA; Charlotte, NC; Washington, D.C.; Philadelphia; Chattanooga, TN; and Greensboro, NC and most recently, Allentown, in his home state of Pennsylvania.

“You cannot find a stronger bond than the one between country radio, their artists, and their fans,” said Due. “This is going to be an incredible new chapter in my life both personally and professionally and I can’t wait to work with the incredible team in San Antonio!”

iHeartMedia is a leading media outlet in the San Antonio market and its content is available across multiple platforms, including its broadcast stations; online via its branded digital sites; mobile; and social, with nationwide listening through iHeartRadio, the all-in-one streaming music and live radio service – with its more than a billion downloads and 100 million registered users.
