iHeartMedia CHR “Y100” 100.7 WHYI Fort Lauderdale/Miami has appointed Taylor Jukes as Program Director.
Jukes joins WHYI after a long career in Canada where she most recently served as Bell Media’s Senior Manager of National Content for iHeartRadio Canada. She has also programmed CHR “99.9 Virgin Radio” CKFM Toronto, “91.7 The Bounce” CHBN Edmonton, and the combo of “94.5 Virgin Radio” CFBT and AAA “Shore 104.3” CHHR Vancouver.
Jukes fills the WHYI opening vacant since the exit of Alex Tear in January.
iHeartMedia announced today that Taylor Jukes has been named Program Director for WHYI FM/Y100, effective immediately. iHeartMedia Miami has a strong cross-platform presence and includes a number of iconic brands and franchises — both broadcast and digital — encompassing nine stations comprised of music, talk and news formats.
iHeartMedia has the leading consumer reach and influence across multiple platforms and delivers more live programming than any other media company. As Program Director, Jukes will be responsible for the ratings, revenue, and digital growth of Y100 and its online and social brands. She will report to Rob Miller, Region Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia South Florida.

Jukes was most recently Senior Manager of National Content for iHeartRadio Canada, overseeing content for the brand digitally and on-air across 109 Bell Media stations. She also served as the Program Director for one of the most successful Top 40 stations in Canada, CKFM/99.9 Virgin Radio Toronto. She’s had programming and on-air roles at Alternative CHHR/Shore 104 Vancouver, BC, Virgin Radio Vancouver, Top 40 CHBN Edmonton, AB and more.
