As Entercom’s downsizing across the country continues, three talents have been let go in Seattle.
At Soft AC “94.1 The Sound” KSWD, APD/morning co-host Jeanne Ashley departs after just over a year with the station. Ashley joined KSWD in October 2018 after six years as Music Director/afternoon host at WFEZ Miami and has also worked at WLYF Miami, KSRC Kansas City, WYYY Syracuse, and WLZW Utica. John Fisher will remain in mornings solo.
Jamie ‘Tanch’ Tanchyk exits as APD/midday host at Rhythmic Hot AC “Hot 103.7” KHTP. Tanchyk joined KHTP in 2014 after previously spending the bulk of his career in his native Albany NY including programming stints at Townsquare Media and Pamal Broadcasting. He also hosted weekends at “103.3 Amp Radio” WODS Boston.
Cody Whistler departs nights at Alternative “107.7 The End” KNDD. Whistler joined the station in 2006 in the promotions department, began working on-air in 2014, and was promoted to nights in 2017.
