After being off the air for most of 2020 following a transmitter failure and COVID related closures, Cape Cod Community College has relaunched 90.7 WKKL West Barnstable MA with a Classic Alternative format.
Positioned as “Classic Hits For The Cool Kids”, the station will feature Alternative music from the likes of The Clash, David Bowie, U2, Cranberries and The Smiths. The music is meant to represent what the station played during the 1980s and 1990s.
CapeNews.net adds that the station will continue to feature students and alumni on-air along with some community based programming.
