Pamal Broadcasting has announced the addition of Kevin Callahan as Corporate Director of Programming and Operations overseeing the company’s programming and operations in Albany, Glens Falls, Hudson Valley NY and Rutland VT.
Callahan departed Audacy last month after twelve years in San Diego. He wqs named Program Director of then Lincoln Financial Media Country 97.3 KSON (now 103.7) San Diego and later had stints programming Alternative 94.9 KBZT and AC 96.5 KYXY during his tenure eventually rising to Operations Manager as the cluster transferred to Entercom and then absorbed CBS Radio’s competing cluster and then Regional VP of Country Programming overseeing WDAF-FM Kansas City, KFRG Riverside, KMLE Phoenix, KKWF Seattle and KWJJ Portland.
Callhan previously worked for Pamal as Regional Vice President of Programming from 2003 to 2010 after previously serving as Operations Manager for Clear Channel Colorado Springs from 1999-2003 and programming Hot AC “Mix 102.3” WMBX West Palm Beach and stations in Denver and Omaha. He began his career on-air at Pamal CHR “Fly 92” WFLY Albany.
